Metroplex Animal Coalition is inviting your family pets to help us raise the money we need this year for spay and neuter to help the pets of low-income families.

While having our pets help those less fortunate is a fun way to help raise money, the cause is serious.

Did you know that every three minutes a dog or cat is killed in our Metroplex area (an average of 200,000 healthy animals per year)?

One female cat and her offspring can produce 420,000 cats in seven years.

One female dog and her offspring can produce 67,000 dogs in six years.

The majority of these animals are born to suffer and then be killed, maybe in a municipal facility, through disease, starvation, neglect or worst of all, through cruelty and abuse.
Only a lucky few become happy pets in loving homes.

We at Metroplex Animal Coalition are trying to prevent
this by providing a spay/neuter program for low-income families who cannot afford even basic services for their pet −
much less a spay or neuter surgery.

MAC receives no city, state or federal funding of any kind.
